¹⁸ This lower walkway for the outer courtyard was laid in front of the chambers and connected all the gates and was as wide as the gates were long. ¹⁹ The man then measured the area between the inner entrance of the lower east gate and the outside of the inner courtyard upper gate. It was about 175 feet on the east and the north.
